From December 4 to 7, we participated in the III Maritime and Port Exhibition for the Latin America Industry, TRANS-PORT 2012, in the context of the International Maritime and Naval Exhibition & Conference for Latin America, EXPONAVAL (in its VIII version this year), traditional biennial exhibition organized by the Chilean Navy and FISA, held in locations of the Valparaíso Passenger Terminal, VTP, at the port of Valparaíso.

Since its first version in 1998, EXPONAVAL has become the main Latin-American exhibition in the naval and maritime area, positioning Chile as a leader in trade fairs and exhibitions of this kind.

The expo is also a key forum for the generation and expansion of business networking and the introduction of new technologies in the fields of naval industrial activity, services, defence, security and shipping.

Naval Radio had the opportunity of sharing booth with Andrés Bello University, in order to showcase the modern "Navigation and Manoeuvring Simulator Navi-Trainer Professional 5000 (NTPRO 5000)", manufactured by the first-class company Transas which also developed the software.

This high-end equipment enables simulation training and certification of watch officers, chief officers, captains and pilots on all types of vessels, and it’s commercialized exclusively by our company in Chile, Perú and Ecuador.
EXPONAVAL was attended by 160 exhibitors and Official Navy delegations from 28 countries worldwide, and included a complete conference program, with first-line speakers in the maritime, naval, port and defence areas.

Check the following pictures where you can see what EXPONAVAL and TRANS-PORT 2012 was about. Both events gathered more than 8000 people during the 4 days opened to the public.
